DATA SECURITY

Data Security

Four commitments: data stays on your servers, NDA before kickoff, copies returned or destroyed at close, compliance first. No client data in public models.

Four commitments on your data

R&D data is among the most sensitive assets a company holds. These four commitments apply to every project we take on.

  • Your data stays on your servers

we work through remote access, and your data stays on your servers.

  • Confidential from day one

an NDA is signed before kickoff, and the whole team is equally bound.

  • Returned or destroyed at close

all copies are returned or destroyed when the project ends.

  • Compliance first

we follow human genetic resources and data security regulations, and client data never goes into public models.

01

Your data stays on your servers

Commitmentwe work through remote access, and your data stays on your servers.

How we do it

  • When a project involves your data, we connect to your environment remotely and run the analysis on your servers.
  • Your data doesn't need to be copied or transferred to us.
  • Projects that use only public databases, such as the Target–Indication Evidence Pack, don't touch your internal data at all.

02

Confidential from day one

Commitmentan NDA is signed before kickoff, and the whole team is equally bound.

How we do it

  • We sign a non-disclosure agreement before the project starts.
  • Everyone working on the project is bound by the same confidentiality obligations.

03

Returned or destroyed at close

Commitmentall copies are returned or destroyed when the project ends.

How we do it

  • At project close, all copies of project data are returned to you or destroyed, as set out in the contract.

04

Compliance first

Commitmentwe follow human genetic resources and data security regulations, and client data never goes into public models.

How we do it

  • We follow the applicable regulations on human genetic resources and data security.
  • Client data never goes into any public AI model. We use AI tools in our workflow, but your data is not used in public models.
  • During data preparation, we confirm data scope and permitted use before analysis begins.

Worth checking before you start

  • Your company's rules for external partners. Tell us what they are, and we'll confirm the access method and data scope against them.
  • Whether the data belongs to projects you run for your own clients. If it does, you will usually need to confirm that your client contracts allow a third party to take part in the analysis.
  • Whether a first project could start with public data. That lets you assess the quality of our work without involving internal data.
